Climber,
It's been a busy week in the MAS 90 and MAS 200 world with the
Sage Insights Show in Denver
over the past few days showcasing the newest advancements in the
product line. In this email, we review some of the more
interesting developments. In addition, we also want to share with
you our newest find, Toodledo, an application
that helps our staff stay organized and on track. As both a browser
based program and an iPhone app, we're able to update our
to-do list whenever and wherever the moment strikes. Also
make sure to check out the most up to date
compatibility matrix for users of Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200
v4.4.

Sage presented its annual partner trade show called
Insights this week in Denver.
This is the conference where they unveil the latest and greatest developments
with all of their products as well as allowing their development and
integration partners to showcase their tools. Over the course
of the week, we saw a lot of exciting developments for the Sage MAS
90 and MAS 200 world. Here are some of the highlights:
The introduction of Sage MAS200 SQL
in v4.45 will significantly improve integration capabilities since
we'll be able to read and write from and to the MAS 200 database via
SQL. In addition, it's likely that the SQL version may be a
little faster than the client server version.
Sage Intelligence will not
only replace F9 and FRx, but it may end up replacing Crystal
Reports. It's an incredibly powerful reporting tool that sends all
of its reports into Excel for easy reformatting, resorting, and
printing as needed.
Blytheco's
BlyMobile is a
potential game changer for the MAS 90 and MAS 200 world. It not
only provides access to all MAS 90 screens on an iPhone or
Blackberry, but it pretty much allows you to run the entire product
through a browser.
KnowledgeSync,
sort of a "Business Alerts on Steroids" product, showcased
a variety of new features including a browser based workflow tool
that looks like it could be what a lot of companies are looking for
to help them track documents and processes through an organization.
In addition, if you ever thought business alerts was limited, the
standard KnowledgeSync product seems
able to do almost everything Business Alerts can't.

Toodledo is a web-based to do list that
allows you to jot down what you need to complete quickly. Being
completely online, it's easily accessible, making it easier for
you to manage your tasks from anywhere. Once registered as a Toodledo user, you can start adding your tasks
online, through your iPhone, or via email. We love the idea
that you can add or update To Do items from anywhere anytime you think
of something. Using Toodledo has
really streamlined the process for us, and we're finding it to be a
great tool that helps us stay organized in a timely, efficient
way. And here might be the best part -- it's free (!)
unless you want some of the more advanced features.
With Toodledo you can:

the priority, start date, due date, time, length or status of a
task
- Assign
the task to a folder, context of goal Flag the task with a
visual star or tag it with keywords
- Get
audible popup alarms for tasks that are due soon, using Apple's
Push Network for remote notifications

schedule of your choosing

through your tasks to quickly find the ones that matter
- Drill
down into your to do list by a variety of useful criteria
- Apply
filters to your to do lists to hide unimportant tasks
- Sort
your list by multiple fields to ensure that important tasks
float on top
- Quickly
find important tasks with the "Hotlist"
- Securely
sync your to do list with Toodledo.com for backup purposes
- Works
on iPhone and iPad
